Ninat Friedland
I am a registered psychotherapist with over ten years of experience in community and clinical mental health. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and fine arts from York University, and a master’s degree in art therapy from Concordia University, with additional training in couple and family therapy from the University of Guelph. My approach blends my training in art therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy, CBT & DBT, and somatic approaches. I see individuals, couples and families from all walks and ages of life. As a busy parent of two, and a neurodiverse member of the queer community, I would love to hold space for you to explore everything from identity and relationship issues to work-life balance, self-care, creativity and empowerment. Outside of work, you’ll find me combing the beach for natural art supplies, paddling, doing yoga and working with clay. I specialize in: • ADHD • Depression • Eating disorders • Grief and loss • Infertility • Parenting support • Perinatal health • Stress and anxiety • Trauma and PTSD • 2SLGBTQIA Availability: I am currently accepting in-person clients on Tuesdays at the Healing Collective, and virtual (phone or video) appointments throughout the week. Please feel free to book online or contact me here for a free 20 min phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit for each other.
